Why

Being an Entrepreneur can be so stressful.

There are so many things we can’t control. ⁣

But legal documents are NOT one of those things!

Having them in place, so that you can relax and focus on your offer is just one step away!⁣

I invite  online Entrepreneurs who want to grow their business to step away from:

“OMG, I hate this legal stuff but I HAVE to do it”.

Because I have all the Legal Tools that will make you say “It’s done! I feel so safe and secure now”⁣.

The road is much nicer than you might think.

It will lead you to “How can I use this to actually empower my business”. And there are many ways!

Let me share with you what my 10 years legal experience reveals:⁣

1. Business is like a relationship – it requires trust. When people trust you – They buy from you. As simple as that!⁣

2. Having legal documents in place shows, that you are professional and serious about your business. It is a promise of providing the best quality service that we all want.

3. It is really important to teach your customers how they can work with you, what outcome they can expect, what happens if they cancel your meeting the same day.

We all need happy clients as much as predictable business revenue.

You are on your way to success. That means that your money flow needs to be protected while you attract clients. ⁣

Wouldn’t you sleep much better when you know that all the legal elements of your business are secured?

Can you imagine how much more confident you will feel building relations with your clients, knowing that your agreement covers any issue that may arise?

And trust me, every entrepreneur knows that issues will arise.

What

do you need?

Social Media

The first place of introducing your business to the world is likely a social media platform. Whether it is Instagram, Pinterest, Linked In or Facebook – there is a legal side.

You, together with Facebook, are responsible for what is going on on sites that you administrate (fan page, group etc.)

Make sure you have a Privacy Notice – so that people that are contacting you in messenger, chatbot, your fan page or group – receive the required set of information.

Facebook adds Pixel or Custom Audience use data tracking. It would help if you informed people that you use those tools.

When you plan Giveaways or Competitions – FB allows that only if you set and publish Terms and Conditions with certain information.

Make sure you have that sorted to avoid the risk of losing/closing your FP. Be extra careful when it’s where your clients are.

GDPR

GDPR is not a scary monster that will punish you for using a personal data.
GDPR is not about having another piece of legal jargon on your website.

GDPR is not intended to forbid processing or ask for consent in every single interaction.

It is all about TRANSPARENCY:
Do you have a record of what personal data you hold?
Do you know what you use it for?
Do people know you have their personal data and understand how you use it?
Do you only collect the personal data you need?
Do you only keep personal data for as long as it is needed?
Do you keep personal data accurate and up to date?
Do you keep personal data secure?
Do you have a way for people to exercise their rights regarding the personal data you hold about them?
Do you and your staff know your data protection responsibilities?

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force three years ago. To date, GDPR fines have totalled €292 million and have been issued to global brands such as Google, Marriott International and British Airways.
Yes, I do advise you to have that sorted.

website

Website Terms of Use refers to all aspects of running your website.

The most important part of that is information on digital or electronic services if your business delivers such.

Website terms of use are also a place for framing the context to all the content you publish – Copyrights information and Disclaimers.

Last but not least – if there is an offer of product or service that can be purchased directly from your website, the terms must cover service rules, returns, warranty and payment information.

Client Agreement

Contracts are awesome.
I mean – really. Usually, language is terrible, and people do not read them.
But here is the thing: the contract does not have to use all this legal jargon.
Here is another thing: when you exchange e-mails with offer and confirmation – this is a contract too!
Only certain types of agreements do need to have a contract on the paper to enforce it.
This rule is the reason why the Client contract is the last on this list.
Although I am sure your business will get to that point, you will want one.
You want a contract to build a relation with your client – transparent and fair. Tell your clients what they can expect from working with you and what is not in the package.
To avoid disappointment.
To set YOUR boundaries.
I don’t think that a good contract, the one that aligns with your business, can be born from copying the template, and therefore I am not offering that in the templates bundle, but I will be happy to prepare a draft on arrangement.

How to do this?

I am not a big fan of trade borders. As a child raised in a country influenced by a soviet system, I remember the empty shops and a burning thought, that it is all available behind the border. That we could not cross.

I created this  Bundle of Legal Templates to support International Sales in your business, so that you can share your unique offer with the worldwide audience no matter where you registered your business.

My goal was to write the documents that are:

  • Compliant across EU and  UK in terms of: Laws, Scope of Information, Detail and Clarity (specific requirements of particular countries are met)
  • Layered – this means that there is a ‘space’ (in legal terms:provision) to add specific rules, demands, descriptions or conditions on a product/service description page and it becomes a part of purchase agreement.
  • International – International Private Law  determines the choice of law system in international contracts. Collision Clauses allows to add preferences to that structure, so that you can take a full advantage of your rights.
  • Easy to customise: Every document comes with the video introduction and instructions on how to customize them under one hour.
